New Forest Interiors provides soft furnishings both for the home and for contracts –ie. offices, pubs, restaurants and hotels - all based from our small yet astonishingly well stocked showroom and shop in Lymington, New Forest.

Most of our clients are based locally in the New Forest and surrounding area but we have a number of London based clients too.  Our projects range from entire home refurbishments to redecoration of a single room – whatever your soft furnishing or flooring requirements, we are happy to help.

If you have your own maker or upholsterer and just need to purchase the fabric for your project, we are happy to do this too and we can also supply a wide variety of wallpapers, as well as curtain tracks and poles.  We also supply carpets and wooden flooring.

Owner manager of the business Jo Barringer trained in textile design and worked for many years with Designers Guild, whilst Hannah Harper is a wonderfully talented young designer and soft furnishings consultant, with a flair for creating interior schemes with a difference which delightfully complement their environment.

There are 3 of us based in the shop, whilst behind us is our team of seamstresses, upholsterers, carpet and flooring fitters and other specialists, all of whom we've vetted and approved and for each of whom we take responsibility for the quality of their work and your satisfaction.  

If you come into the shop and give us an idea of what you're looking for and your preferences eg traditional or modern, classic or contemporary and any colours you have in mind, we'll help you face the otherwise rather daunting prospect of the 600 designer books, by immediately selecting a few which we know you'll like.  Gradually with your feedback and further input, we'll put together a "scheme" for you.  We'll organise samples of your favoured fabrics and papers which you can take home and look at in all lights near to the furniture/carpets and other elements which are staying.  If appropriate we'll visit you at home for a further consultation before measuring up and giving you a proper quotation.
